Palace and Kappa Unveil New Collaborative Collection

1

Italian sportswear brand Kappa and London-based skate brand Palace are teaming up for their first-ever collaboration together.

The two subcultural giants present a collection celebrating timeless Italian street style and ’90s British football culture. Kappa invited the Palace design team to explore the brand’s archive in Turin, Italy. The extensive collection houses jerseys worn by iconic players, sportswear re-appropriated by Britpop stars, and hundreds of Home and Away kits worn by Kappa-sponsored teams over the past 30 years. The Palace team used these archival garments as references for this collection.

The Kappa x Palace collection features jerseys, tracksuits, caps, and more, each adorned with the Kappa Omini logo and Palace branding. T-shirts with raglan sleeves are inspired by iconic soccer jerseys in blue, yellow, pink, and black. The “’90s fit” crinkle effect jacket is another highlight, featuring technical nylon construction and offered in blue and black/grey. Rounding out the collection is a black soccer boot bag with rubber Kappa and Palace branding.

The Kappa Palace collection launches on Friday, December 3rd on the Palace website (US 11am EST / UK 11am GMT / EU 12pm CET) and at Palace stores worldwide. Check out the lookbook and product shots below.
