Palace Drops Nostalgic Rave Capsule With London Artist Pez

1

Palace is expanding its Winter 2021 collection with a capsule created with artist Pez, inspired by the nostalgic rave scene in London.

Steven “Pez” Perry is a British artist famous for his vibrant flyers for raves such as Helter Skelter and Biology. As dance and club culture in London grew in the late ’80s, so did Pez’s fame. Inspired by the works of Martha Cooper and Henry Chalfont, Pez’s artwork began appearing throughout urban Britain. A few decades later, Pez and Palace are coming together to create a timeless collection that immortalizes the artist’s work on an apparel canvas.

The collection includes t-shirts, jackets, hoodies and hats. Front and center are Pez’s most memorable works, including a twist on the “Pezman” character created in 1990. Skateboard decks round out the capsule.

The Palace x Pez collection will be available starting October 22nd. Shop the capsule on the Palace website and the brand’s NYC and London stores. A Japan and China release will follow on October 23rd.
