A Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low Possibly in the Works

0

Dutch artist Piet Parra and Nike SB are frequent collaborators, with recent team-ups spawning a Dunk Low and Blazer Low in 2019 and the official Tokyo Olympics skateboarding uniforms for teams USA, France, and Brazil. It appears that the two are now reuniting on a new version of the Dunk Low, as a sample of this collaboration has surfaced.

This sample pair features a mismatching design across the two shoes. While both feature a suede mocha construction on the toe box and tongue, as well as royal blue sock liners, color blocking on the overlays and quarter panels are unique on each shoe. The left shoe features white leather overlays while the overlays on right come in Parra’s signature multicolored abstract artwork. This artwork also dresses the quarter panel on the left shoe and the tongue tags and tongue lining on both shoes. The Swoosh branding has been altered, truncated so it doesn’t reach the heel, and comes in black leather. The sole unit has also been altered, appearing to be borrowed from the Nike SB Zoom Team Edition.

Check out the Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low sample below. If these do release, expect them to drop in late summer to coincide with the Tokyo Olympics.
