Hailing from Los Angeles by way of Washington, up-and-coming streetwear designer Paynestar is set to release “A Sense of Place,” the final drop from his Candy: A Colorful Disposition project.
This drop consists of a long-sleeve top, a short-sleeve, and a knit vest. The “One Million Year Trip” short-sleeve pays tribute to French indie musician Laetitia Sadier, best known as founding member of the band Stereolab, and her debut solo album The Trip. Similarly, the long-sleeve, titled “Echo’s Answer,” celebrates the late Trish Keenan, the lead vocalist and founding member of the electronic band Broadcast. Lastly, the knit vest features a large peace sign hand gesture on the front with the message “More Beautiful Pictures” on the back.
The Candy “A Sense of Place” collection drops on January 1st, 2021 on paynestar.com. Check out the lookbook images below.
