This might be something you don’t hear every day but did you know that at one point, Michael Jordan preferred adidas over Nike during his college years?
In 1984, Michael wanted to sign with adidas but unfortunately due to some unwise decisions at Adidas HQ, MJ was rejected and was soon picked up by Nike. At the time, Adidas was only focused on the European market as well as Centers in Basketball leaving MJ in the dark. However, it worked out in the long run.
