Back in July, PJ Tucker hit the court in a never-before-seen colorway of the Nike Kobe 5 Protro. This should come as no surprise, as PJ is the certified king of sneakers in the NBA and is regularly hitting the court in rare and unreleased kicks.

On Labor Day, PJ Tucker took to Instagram to reveal that this colorway is his PE and is being released to the public. This colorway feature a multicolored upper, dressed primarily in a marbled Particle Grey with a sail-colored overlay. There’s a patch of University Blue on the toe box, while University Red is featured on a panel near the ankle. Voltage Purple dresses the sockliner and the shoe comes equipped with Volt laces. Additional features include a white Swoosh with black dots, a black heel cap with Kobe’s signature, and a Light Cream midsole.

This is just one PJ Tucker PE colorway of the Nike Kobe 5 Protro. Last month, PJ revealed a zebra-patterned colorway that is also expected to release sometime soon. Stay tuned for info on that colorway’s release. According to PJ, this multicolored pair is dropping on September 25th. Check out PJ’s IG story announcement below.
