PLEASURES is dropping a capsule collection in honor of Big L, the acclaimed Harlem rapper who tragically passed away in 1999 at the age of 24.
The collection was created in collaboration with the estate and family of Big L to celebrate the music and legacy of the rap icon. Tees feature photos of Big L paired with minimal PLEASURES branding and the logo for Flamboyant Entertainment, the record label that Big L founded in 1998. Other pieces in the collection include a Dickies coach jacket and tees and hoodies that read “Flamboyant For Life” across the chest. The lookbook for the collection was shot in Harlem by photographer Sean Lyles and modeled by Papi Diagne.
