LA-based brand Pleasures has teased a new collaboration with Converse, a new take on the Converse Pro Leather.
Pleasures ditches the leather of the Pro “Leather” and gives it a shaggy suede makeover on the toe, tongue, and eyestays. They also dressed the upper in a crinkled material with bold black-and-white punk-esque graphic prints including a four-panel portrait and “Stop Lying to Yourself” near the toe. They’ve also taken liberties with the midsole, giving the shoe some extra rubber with foxing wrapped around the shoe above the traditional midsole of a Pro Leather similar to that of the Chuck Taylor.
There is no official word on the release of this Pleasures and Converse collab so stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for more information.
