“Ahh, after 10,000 years I’m free! It’s time to conquer Earth!” Who can forget the opening line from the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers intro uttered by the evil Rita Repulsa. After dropping a six-piece Power Rangers collection back in June, Reebok is back with another Power Rangers-themed shoe, the Instapump Fury “Rita Repulsa.”
This Instapump Fury is dressed in details pulled from the outfit of the main villain in the ’90s kids TV show. The base of the shoe is dressed in an pinkish orange, while the inflatable cage comes in black and covered in gold symbols. Additional details include hairy heel panel, spiky blue accents circling the tongue, and a symbol pulled from Rita’s staff on the Pump button. We even have additional details hidden on the graphic insoles, such as a reference to Rita’s headaches she gets after being defeated by the Power Rangers.
The Power Rangers x Reebok Instapump Fury “Rita Repulsa” is available now via JD Sports and Finish Line (mislabeled as a Minions collab). Expect a wider release via Reebok.com and select retailers in the near future. Check out the pair in the images below.
