NYC-based skate magazine Quartersnacks is reuniting with Nike SB on a new “Zebra” Dunk Low. The two previously came together on a SB Dunk Low in 2014, followed by a Blazer Low XT in navy and white in 2018.
First look images of this upcoming SB Dunk Low reveal its black-and-white striped zebra print base and black leather overlays. The zebra pattern is likely a homage to Zebra Cakes, a Little Debbie’s treat that was once available at corner store’s for a quarter. “QS25” branding is embroidered on the lateral heel, a nod to 25¢ coin in the magazine’s name. It also appears to feature a standard flat nylon tongue instead of the fat tongues usually found on SB versions. Other details include red Nike SB and Quartersnacks branding on the tongue tag and additional zebra print on the co-branded insoles.
