After making a stop in the Windy City, the “Community Linx” tour has now hit Los Angeles.
A three-way collaboration between Raekwon, Diadora, and Foot Locker, Inc., the “Community Linx” project features product drops and community outreach events at major cities across the country. For Los Angeles, Raekwon delivers a purple and gold colorway of the N9002 with the hip-hop legend’s name across the heels.
To celebrate the release, Foot Locker LA hosted a private learning session for students at Beyond The Combs Academy. Nortberto Garcia, founder of production company Ample Creative, educated the kids about the study of photo and film, and the students had the chance to present their own 15-30 second reel inspired by the work they analyzed during the session. The program came full circle as the participants’ works were overlaid with music beats produced from the Community Linx NYC event. Foot Locker Inc. also presented Beyond the Combs with a special donation to support their ongoing programs.
