Canada-based streetwear brand Raised by Wolves will soon be releasing a new collaboration with Saucony Originals, the AYA “Asphalt Jungle.” AYA, meaning fly swiftly, was originally a runner’s shoe known for its multiple lacing options and customizable fit.
The brand draws inspiration from skater Chad Muska’s signature footwear from the ’90s, incorporating a concealed stash pocket in the tongue. The sneaker comes in a tonal grey colorway with pops of color inspired by stained Hard Rock Canadian Maple wood used for skate decks. A cord lock on the laces and reflective heel tab add to the creativity of this shoe.
The Raised by Wolves x Saucony AYA “Asphalt Jungle” releases online via Raised By Wolves’ website at midnight EST on January 18th, followed by a global release at select retailers on January 25th. Retail price is $130 USD.
