Original Story (01/06/22): Allen Iverson spent most of his career with the Philadelphia 76ers, and while he’s a known Cowboys fan, he often showed love to the Philadelphia Eagles. Reebok is now releasing a new colorway of the Iverson’s Answer IV dressed in Eagles colors.
The exact inspiration for this Answer IV is the tunnel outfit that Allen Iverson wore pre-game before leading the Sixers to a Game 1 victory over the favorited Lakers in 2001, one of the most memorable performances in NBA Finals history. AI was donning a #3 Eagles jersey as well as a black du-rag adorned with his Reebok “I3” logo. The upper of the shoe comes dressed in white and shiny deep teal leather, mimicking the colors of the jersey, while the du-rag print is represented with the sockliner.
The release date for the Reebok Answer IV “Eagles” (aka “Tunnel”) is currently listed as January 21st by DTLR. Expect a wider release in April on Reebok.com and at select retailers such as JD Sports, Finish Line, and Foot Locker. Check out official images below.
