Reebok has been releasing a ton of nostalgia-inducing collaborations lately, teaming up with the likes of NERF, Candy Land, Tom & Jerry, and Ghostbusters, just to name a few. The brand is now partnering with Hasbro on a collection of footwear inspired by the popular ’90s kids TV show Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
The collection consists of six footwear models, the Zig Kinetica II, Nano X1, Club C, Freestyle Hi, Club C Legacy, and Question Mid. Each pay homage to one of the five original Power Rangers (Red, Black, Yellow, Pink, Blue), with the Question Mid corresponding to the Megazord. If you manage to collect all six models in adult sizing, you can even assemble all the shoeboxes together to make your very own Megazord (pics below).
Each shoe incorporates a Power Coin, the Power Rangers bolt and materials inspired by the metallic Zords into their designs. A ton of individual details are included as well. For example, the Freestyle Hi features a green broken heart on the inside strap that alludes to the Pink Ranger’s relationship with the Green Ranger, while the Club C features a wing logo on the back of the tongue as a tribute to the late actress Thuy Trang, who played the Yellow Ranger.
The Power Rangers x Reebok collection will be available on June 29th via Reebok.com/power_rangers (10am ET) and select retailers, though the Question Mid “Megazord” is Reebok exclusive.
