Reebok Question Mid “Dr. J” Drops This Week

Original Story (01/11/22): Allen Iverson has paid tribute to Julius Erving a few times over the years, from the iconic SLAM Magazine cover in ’99 to wearing the number 6 in the 2002 All-Star Game. For the 20th anniversary of that All-Star Game, Reebok will be dropping a “Dr. J” colorway of the Reebok Question Mid, combining the legacies of two Sixers legends in one shoe.

The “Dr. J” Question Mid comes dressed in white with red and gold accents, the same color scheme as the jersey Iverson wore in the ’02 All-Star Game, which took place in Philadelphia. The number 3 on the heels has also been replaced with the number 6, another nod to that game. The insoles are the highlight of the pair, which feature an illustration of Allen Iverson rocking a Dr. J afro. Rounding out the design is a white midsole and an icy translucent outsole with a large red Vector logo.

The Reebok Question Mid “Dr. J” will likely release in mid-February on Reebok.com and select retailers to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the ’02 All-Star Game, though an official release date has yet to be announced. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for release details and check out official images of the shoe below.
