There’s something special about the footwear of ’90s era basketball: the Air Jordan 11, Shawn Kemp’s Reebok Kamikaze, the Air Max Penny 1, the list goes on and on. You also can’t forget about the Reebok Question, the shoe Allen Iverson rocked throughout his spectacular rookie season. The Question is now getting a Lux makeover that brings back some of that ’90s nostalgia.
This upcoming Reebok Question Mid Lux comes in a black and gold color scheme, similar to one of the original Question colorways released in 1997. However, the silhouette has been upgraded with modern-day premium materials and details. Supple full grain leather dresses the lateral sides, while suede dresses the toe cap and medial sides for an asymmetrical look. A 3D metallic gold Vector logo is another premium detail, with additional metallic gold hardware used for the 3 logo on the back of the heel. More hits of gold can be found on the tongue, eyelets, and Hexalite cushioning windows on the midsole, while underfoot is a translucent icy black outsole.
Check out official images of the Reebok Question Mid Lux below. These are currently slated to release on December 13th on Reebok Canada, though look for a global drop in early 2022 on Reebok.com and at select retailers. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for release updates.
