Rhuigi Villaseñor, creative director and founder of RHUDE, took to Instagram to announce the brand’s latest collaboration with Canada Goose and the NBA for All-Star 2021.
From what we can see, the piece is a brown version of Canada Goose’s Freestyle Vest with Goose branding to match over the heart, a red RHUDE patch on the mirrored side, and colorblocked pockets in a beige and cinder shade. RHUDE grounds its pieces in American iconography with nostalgic references, an element that will probably shine through for the NBA piece of the pie.
From collaborations with Kyle Kuzma, the Los Angeles Lakers, Vans, Puma, CLOT (and many more), to appearances on Paris Fashion Week runways, Villaseñor will no doubt have the demand and anticipation in time for the All-Star Game on Sunday, March 7th.
As of now, it is believed that this limited edition Freestyle Vest will be exclusive to members of the 2021 NBA All-Star teams, though more info on this collaboration is yet to come. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for further details.
