Ronnie Fieg for ASICS 10 Year Capsule Release Date

0

Original Story (11/17/21): In 2011, Kith released the Ronnie Fieg x ASICS GEL-LYTE III “Salmon Toe” and “Leatherback” for the grand openings of the brand’s first stores in Brooklyn and Manhattan. These highly sought-after kicks were the first pairs sold by Kith and kicked off a ten-year run that is still going strong to this day.

As a celebration of Kith’s 10 year anniversary, Ronnie Fieg and company are bringing back the two colorways, this time on the GEL-LYTE V. First announced in The KXTH Book, these GEL-LYTE Vs feature tonal mismatching FIEG and ASICS branding on the tongues, plus ten year anniversary “KXTH” branding on the sockliners and debossed on the heels. Both come in a custom box as well as a KXTH dust bag.

While release details have not yet been fully revealed, Ronnie Fieg has announced that he is doing something special for those who currently own one of the original GEL-LYTE III colorways or 2016’s “Salmon Toe 2.0.” Those who verify their ownership of one of these pairs will be invited to a Zoom panel hosted by Fieg next week where he’ll be giving everyone who attends “a very nice gift.”
