Ronnie Fieg has announced a new collaboration between Kith and popular NFT project Invisible Friends.
The partnership between Kith and Invisible Friends kicked off back in March with the reveal of an honorary Invisible Friend NFT gifted to Ronnie Fieg. The two have now officially unveiled Kith Friends, a collection of NFT collectibles designed by Fieg in collaboration with Invisible Friends founder Markus Magnusson. These Friends will debut looks from Kith’s upcoming Summer 2022 collection as well as exclusive Kith x Invisible Friends product. Kith Friends holders will receive the corresponding physical product that the NFT character is wearing.
Kith Friends launches on Wednesday, May 18th at 11am ET when the first of nine 1/1 editions goes up for public auction. Each of the nine will be wearing a different look from Kith summer 2022 and are inspired by a Kith store from around the world. The first one pays homage to Kith’s first store in Brooklyn. The other auctions will launch on Thursday, May 19th at 1pm ET. Each auction will last 24 hours and all proceeds will be donated to charity.
Three different Special Edition Kith Friends NFTs will then be made available to mint for 24 hours starting Friday, May 20th at 3pm ET, exclusively for Invisible Friend holders at a cost of $1000 USD of Ethereum. These will be dressed in Kith x Invisible Friends product. Owners of these editions will be able to claim exclusive products from the Kith for Invisible Friends capsule collection, projected to launch in February 2023. Over time, Kith Friend NFTs will evolve and change their outfits, revealing future products that holders will gain early access to.
Two physical Kith x Invisible Friends hoodies will also be launching via pre-order on May 20th. The first colorway will be available to the public from 11am-12pm ET on Kith.com, while the second colorway will be exclusively available to Invisible Friend holders for 24 hours starting at 12pm ET. Hoodies are projected to deliver February 2023.
