Original Story (11/01/21): Washington Wizards forward and Jordan Brand athlete Rui Hachimura has his own Air Jordan 8 collaboration in the works.
This Air Jordan 8 draws inspiration from Hachimura’s Japanese heritage and his own brand Black Samurai. The shoe comes dressed in an aged yellow suede with distressed leather overlays, mimicking traditional Japanese woodblock print art. Hachimura’s Black Samurai logo appears on the tongue inside a red chenille circle. The shoe comes in a special box that features Japanese ukiyo-e style art of Hachimura.
