Original Story (01/29/21): Nike and Sacai have a Spring 2021 collection of VaporWaffles on the way, which, along with the recently previewed “Off-Noir” colorway, includes a “Dark Iris” offering.
Each pair of VaporWaffles this season comes with a mix of mesh and suede construction. This colorway specifically has a deep purple upper, with lighter and darker hues joining the design, with Campfire Orange Swooshes and heels hitting for contrast. An underlapping Navy Swoosh and laces add to their brighter Dark Iris/White counterparts, the latter of which comes intertwined, while the beloved waffle rubber outsole serves as a thick foundation, splitting white with cream.
The Sacai x Nike VaporWaffle “Dark Iris” will join the collection this spring, though an exact release date is unclear. Check out official photos below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for an official release date.
