A collaboration between one of Chicago’s premier boutiques and Asics, the St. Alfred x Asics Gel Lyte III is a direct nod to Chicago’s own Lake Shore paths, trails that run the length of the city caressing Lake Michigan, all the while serving as one of the best ways to exercise and enjoy the outdoors in the city of Chicago. This rendition of the Gel Lyte III is seen in a grey suede upper accented with blue and beige elements, reminiscent of the views one might encounter along the Lake Shore paths. The crew over at St. Alfred did a great job with this collab, the grey wonderfully represents the concrete jungle we inhabit, the blue representing the water of Lake Michigan and the sandy beige midsole paying homage to the beaches that give life to the summer months in Chicago.
