Nike SB has enlisted Seattle-based streetwear artist Samborghini for a collaboration on the Nyjah Free 2 and a set of matching apparel.
Nyjah Huston’s second pro skate model draws inspiration from the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon. As such, this collaboration sees the Nyjah Free 2 dressed in a color scheme inspired by the OG “Ultra Blue” Spiridon colorway. The blue mesh panels feature an ombre effect — darker near the toe and lighter towards the heel — with metallic silver details on the Swoosh and lace stays. Logos on the side of the heels and graphics on the insoles showcase the 33-year-old graphic artist’s distinctive style, further showcased on the apparel collection that includes a tee, hoodie, and cap.
The Samborghini x Nike SB Nyjah Free 2 and apparel collection is set to release on June 5th on Nike.com and local skate shops.
