Though some of our youth may be confused by the red badge on these new Chuck Taylor’s, most will realize that these in fact pay homage to the days when mail didn’t have an “e” before it, and if you had a password, it was a word, and you spoke it. The wax seal was the tried and true way of sealing documents for centuries, and the emblem in the seal itself was of great importance, something we still see in all government offices. This clever take uses the standard Converse logo as it’s seal, and adorns three interesting new colorways. These monochromatic Chuck’s come in Tan, Off-White and Black, and each are offset by the bold “wax seal” logo.
