Original Story (07/12/21): Earlier this year, we got a first look the Superturf Adventure, a new hiking-style silhouette created in partnership with Round Two’s Sean Wotherspoon. While the first pair revealed is a collaboration with atmos, a second pair has been revealed created in partnership with Disney.
This Superturf Adventure is themed after Jiminy Cricket from the 1940 Disney film Pinocchio. The vegan trail shoe features an upper primarily constructed from purple corduroy with a mix of other vegan materials in different colors used for the overlays. We see orange on the toe box, sockliner, and removable tongue pouch, green on the side stripes, teal on and around the tongue, and light blue on the laces and heel panel (just to name a few). A graphic of Jiminy Cricket is embroidered onto each tongue, while Sean Wotherspoon branding is found on the cork insoles. The upper sits atop a white adiPRENE midsole and a pine green outsole, the latter matching the shoe’s packaging.
