Starting the year off with the Stüssy x Nike Spiridon Cage 2, the model will see another collaborative colorway coming this weekend. UK footwear retailers size? has teamed up with Nike on a Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 that celebrates London’s iconography.
Inspired by the sights and experiences offered by Carnaby Street, one of the city’s longstanding shopping districts and home to the size? London store, the shoe is extremely colorful and playful. Aquamarine paneling and a pink and black Swoosh encroach on a simple white forefoot with the rear featuring a dandelion-yellow heel cup and a bubblegum-pink Zoom cage. The shoe also features a heel badge bearing the words “Welcomes the World,” a reference to the arched “Carnaby Street Welcomes the World” sign that visitors to the district pass under. This iconography is also found on the accompanying hoodie and tee size? is dropping with the sneaker.
The size? x Nike Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 “Carnaby” is set to release via size? Launches on July 11th. The retailer has also created an online game where you can learn more about the shoe, Carnaby Street, and size?. Completing the game unlocks early in-store access to the shoe.
