London-born grime artist Skepta extends his partnership with the Swoosh with the Skepta x Nike Phantom football boot and a matching “Bloody Chrome” colorway of the Skepta x Nike Air Max Tailwind V.
The two silhouette’s come with a red butterfly print applied to the uppers, continuing Skepta’s exploration of creative metamorphosis seen on the recently released “Chrome Blue” Tailwind V. Like this previous release, the heels on both silhouette’s feature a subtle iridescent finish, a nod to the thermographic cover art of Skepta’s 2019 album “Ignorance Is Bliss.”
The SK Phantom football boot recently saw its on-field debut, worn by Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood, while the “Bloody Chrome” Tailwind V first surfaced at the top of the year. The Skepta x Nike Phantom and Nike Tailwind V “Bloody Chrome” release on June 12th via Nike.com and select retailers.
