Slam Jam and Converse Create An Outdoor-Friendly Capsule

0

Slam Jam and Converse are teaming up to release a collection fit for the Great Outdoors. Consisting of both apparel and footwear, each piece features technical and stylistic design choices.

Italian powerhouse Slam Jam’s partnership with Converse means a footwear-centric collection, of course. In this case it’s centered around the Bosey MC which comes in Hi and Ox offerings. Both feature a canvas upper that can withstand water, an outsole with powerful tread and a speed lacing system. Other details, such as the Lurex ripstop and rubber hardware also flex the shoe’s weather-resistant construction. The Hi model comes in a black colorway, while the Ox comes in white.

As for the apparel, find Ripstop pants, Sherpa jackets, and a Comms Pouch to round out the collection’s adherence for technicality. For the collection’s campaign, Slam Jam enlisted New York art director Chris Glickman. The shots below help explore “an appreciation of beauty that has been unchanged for millennia and speaks to the deeply human aspects of how our visual landscapes affect us on a fundamental level.”

The Slam Jam x Converse collection is releasing through the Slam Jam website and physical stores come March 20th. The Converse webstore and select retailers worldwide will offer the collection March 25th. See the collection’s campaign imagery below.
