St. Louis born and Chicago based rapper Smino released his new self-written and co-directed video for his single “KLINK” yesterday. The track, produced by frequent collaborator Monte Booker, was originally released back in November as the second single off Smino’s sophomore album NØIR. The album received a lot of praise from critics and even appeared on Complex’s “Top Albums of 2018” list at number 22. The album was described by Pitchfork as “lighter and more fun than his debut, focusing on his incredibly versatile voice within a warm palette of sludgy R&B and neo-funk.”
Smino recently wrapped up his Hoopti Tour which featured 33 dates in the United States, Canada, and England, but you can still catch him playing a few U.S. festival dates throughout the summer.
