Worldwide sneaker retailer Sneakersnstuff presents the latest installment of its GT Hometown Love Series. As part of this series, SNS offers colorways of the adidas GT inspired by the cities that they call home, continuing the legacy of the OG 1980 Stockholm GT. Following the “NYC” pair that pays homage to New York’s meatpacking district, SNS now pays homage to its West Coast home, Los Angeles, specifically Venice Beach.
For the “LA” colorway, SNS gives the GT a hemp canvas upper paired with brown faux suede stripes and heel panels. Additional features include metallic gold details, a gum rubber Handball Spezial outsole, and custom graphics insoles displaying a map of Venice, California.
To celebrate the release of the adidas GT “LA,” the Los Angeles SNS storefront is getting a special display put together by local artist Juliet Maskell. The dirt bike window artwork nods to off-roading alongside springtime poppy blooms, paying homage to the parts of the greater LA area that are unreachable by car.
The SNS x adidas GT “LA” is set to release on April 23rd exclusively at SNS locations and on the SNS app. Sign up to purchase on the app is open until April 22nd.
