Sneakersnstuff and New Balance have unveiled their latest collaboration, a 2002R Mule inspired by creative craftsmanship and Japanese home accessories.

The SNS 2002R Mule “Goods for Home” is equipped with a premium suede and mesh uppers in a “Desert Palm” color scheme, while underfoot is an ABZORB cushion midsole and N-ergy outsole. The N logos on the side panels have been swapped with that of the 990v3, paying homage to the original New Balance mule, the 990v3 Slip On that was introduced a few years back.

To emphasize the “Goods for Home” theme, SNS has also created a selection of crafted goods in collaboration with local Japanese craftsman. An SNS x New Balance Mule incense chamber was created in collaboration with Kensaku Harada of Blackboots in Seto, Aichi, an area that has a long history of making ceramics. The incense chamber can hold the SNS x Apotheke Fragrance incense, which is also a part of the release. The SNS “Home Goods” tee was designed by Tokyo-based graphic designer Ikki Kobayashi. Also releasing is a 2-pack of “Home Goods” Mid-Socks made from soft cotton in Japan. The SNS x NB “Good for Home” project was brought to life by creative contributor Yuthanan, who directed the accompanying campaign.

The SNS x New Balance 2002R Mule will launch globally on September 22nd at all SNS locations, the SNS website, and NewBalance.com. Check out the collection and campaign imagery below.
