James Whitner’s The Whitaker Group is killing the collab game this year. Following the launch of the A Ma Manierè x Air Jordan 3, we now have a look at two Dunk Lows made in collaboration with The Social Status.
These Dunk Lows feature a chocolate and strawberry theme, inspired by the milk cartons that come with public school lunches. Each come with a velour and leather construction and in a mix of beige, brown, and pink hues. Milky Swooshes adorn the side panels, while blue accents dress the strawberry pair’s sockliner and chocolate pair’s outsole. Additional features include Social Status and Nike logos on the tongue tags and insoles, a mini Swoosh on the toe, and an ingredients list on the medial side which reads “Nike Sportswear, Social Status.” Each comes packaged in a special box and wrapping paper that features mazes and other activities for kids.
The Social Status x Nike Dunk Low has only popped up in kids sizing so far, which may mean this release was made exclusively for the children. Both colorways are expected to launch this August. Check them out below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for more info.
