Normcore and athleisure queen Emily Oberg has announced the release of Sporty & Rich’s first fall collection.
Sporty & Rich originally started as Emily’s personal mood board inspired by vintage sport, health, fun, and positive attitudes. This mood board evolved into a magazine in 2016, adding interviews and essays on culturally relevant topics in design, style, architecture and more. Now, Sporty & Rich is also an apparel brand that maintains Emily’s original inspiration.
Sporty & Rich taps model Florence Clapcott for the Fall 2019 lookbook. It features Oberg’s personal aesthetic of minimalist unisex loose-fitting vintage clothing that maintains an overall sleek silhouette along with athleisure and sportswear. We see this in the grey hoodie and sweatpants combo, with subtle Sporty & Rich branding embroidered on the left chest and leg. There are also Sporty & Rich branded crewnecks and t-shirts, both long and short-sleeved, with health and sporty themes, like an Aerobics Club crewneck and a shirt that says “Be Nice. Get Lots of Sleep. Drink Plenty of Water.” For the more athletically inclined there are also sports bras and biker shorts to help keep you cool. Accessories such as dad caps and tote bags round out the collection.
The Sporty & Rich Fall 2019 collection will be available on Friday, October 18th at 12 PM CT/1 PM ET on sportyandrich.com. Check out the fully unisex (minus the underwear) collection in the lookbook images below.
