Original Story (11/16/20): Following a fire collaboration with Bodega earlier this year, the New Balance X-Racer returns with a new collab that will be sure to be even more coveted.
The trail running-inspired sneaker is getting a “NYC Pigeon vs Japan Crow” twist in collaboration with Staple and atmos. Borrowing design cues from the riot-inducing Staple x Nike SB Dunk Low “NYC Pigeon,” the X-Racer comes in a black, gray, and muted red color scheme and features Staple’s pigeon logo embroidered on one of the heels. The other heel, however, features a similar logo that is completely black that represents a black crow. Japan, where atmos originates from, has a massive crow population, just like how pigeons run rampant in NYC.

Update (11/20/20): atmos has fully revealed their “Crow & Pigeon” X-Racer made in collaboration with Staple Design and New Balance. atmos Japan will launch the shoe on November 28th via raffle that opens on November 24th. An accompanying apparel collection will be available starting November 21st.
