Stone Island is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a new collection dubbed “82/22.”
The name “82/22” refers to the year the Italian luxury apparel brand was founded, 1982, and celebrates 40 years of innovation by the brand since. Outerwear pieces such as garment dyed bomber jackets and parkas are created using PIATTINA 82/22, a shiny and translucent fabric from Stone Island’s Italian development lab consisting of polyester monofilaments in the warp and flat nylon threads in the weft. The collection also includes garment dyed cotton jersey zip-up hoodies, crewneck sweatshirts, tees, and shorts.
The Stone Island 40th anniversary “82/22” collection is available from now until April 18th on the Stone Island website and app.
