Original Story (12/29/19): California-based skate brand StrangeLove Skateboards will be collaborating with Nike SB in 2020 on the release of a Valentine’s Day themed Dunk Low.
This SB Dunk Low comes dressed in a pink velvet upper with pink suede overlays, contrasted by a red Swoosh and red sock lining. The pair was designed by Sean Cliver, whose illustrations can be found on the shoe’s insoles. Red and blue hearts can be seen through the translucent pink outsoles.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Well, I ain’t a fan of cliches (or bad news), but don’t hate the player, hate the game, because the raging botbarians at the gate broke in the back door and created a monumental mess for us this evening. Fortunately a plan was already in place to get shoes into the hands of our most loyal and supportive customers, but we regret to inform everyone else that tomorrow’s launch has been cancelled and we will not be selling them on the site. Instead we ask you to please support the authorized @nikesb retailers that will be selling the shoes on February 7 (stay tuned for updates throughout the coming week as we will do our best to help spotlight these locations). Again, sorry for the late update, but circumstances spun way, way out of control in the span of just two short minutes. 💔
Update (01/28/20): Official release info has arrived. StrangeLove Skateboards will be releasing the deluxe edition set of their Nike SB Dunk Low on their website on February 1st, while skate shops will be releasing the standard release on February 7th. An online release on Nike SNKRS US is scheduled for February 8th. Check out the official photos below taken from Sean Cliver’s “we make a fine pair” blog post, detailing the history between him and Nike.
Update (01/21/20): StrangeLove Skateboards will be releasing a special edition box and other goodies along with their Nike SB Dunk. Check out the photos below, courtesy of Sean Cliver.
