It’s been a busy year for Stüssy. After two high-profile releases with Nike and a collab with Alyx’s Matthew M. Williams, the famed streetwear house is now teaming up with German sandal manufacturer Birkenstock.
The upcoming collection stars one of Birkenstock’s most popular models: the Boston clog. Stüssy has retooled the model in two different colors: one in a bone-white and one in a dark taupe. The clogs remain relatively unchanged save for Stüssy swapping the usual smooth suede upper for a corduroy-patterned material and small embossed branding near the medial heel. In general, though, the brand seems to let the silhouette’s legacy of durable, versatile comfort speak for itself.
