In lieu of live, in-person events like E3, XBOX has decided to host a Summer Games Fest as a preview of upcoming Xbox One titles.
This is going to allow players to be able to discover and try out over 60 games that are at various stages of development, all completely free. Xbox One players should be on the lookout for the special Game Fest title to appear on the Dashboard from July 21st to July 27th.
Players must keep in mind that these are not normal “game demos”. Many of the demos are from early stages of games that won’t release for some time and they will continue to evolve and polish out the kinks. After the fest, most of the demos will vanish from the dashboard. The developers of each game will be awaiting feedback if any players have any constructive criticism about any of the upcoming titles.
Check out some of the demos below. Expect somewhere between 75-100 upcoming games for Summer Games Fest.
