Butthole Surfers is an experimental rock band formed in 1981 in Southern California. Incorporating punk, psych, sludge metal, electronic noise and non-traditional instruments in their music, the band quickly became known for their chaotic live shows, black comedy, and absurd lyrics and album artwork that the band designed themselves. That artwork is now the focal point of this week’s Supreme x Butthole Surfers collection.

Pieces in the collection include a short-sleeve button-up and tee with the cover artwork from the band’s 1983 self-titled EP. The cover art for the band’s debut full-length LP Psychic… Powerless… Another Man’s Sac adorns another one of the tees. Their 1986 album Rembrandt Pussyhorse is represented with two tees, one with the front cover art and another with the back cover art. Lastly, the hoodie in the collection features the artwork from the 1987 release Locust Abortion Technician. Each piece will be made available in various colorways.

The Supreme x Butthole Surfers collection launches on Thursday, July 1st via Supreme in-store and online. Check out the full collection below.
