Supreme & James O’Barr Team Up on ‘The Crow’ Collection

Following last week’s collaboration with Clarks Originals, Supreme now teams up with writer James O’Barr on a collection based on his comic book series The Crow.

The Crow was first published in 1989 by Caliber Comics and was created by O’Barr as a means to cope with the death of his fiancée at the hands of a drunk driver. It has since sold more than a million copies worldwide and was adapted into a film in 1994.

O’Barr’s The Crow is influenced by dark romance, from Edgar Allan Poe and Arthur Rimbaud to The Cure, Joy Division, and Bauhaus’ Peter Murphy. “The Crow was born of my pain and tragedies. If it can help people through theirs, I’m glad to have done so,” said O’Barr. “The heart of The Crow has always been the same: Pain and grief, no matter how bad, are temporary. Love is forever.”

Supreme is now releasing a collection featuring original artwork by O’Barr from The Crow. It consists of a Schott® Perfecto Jacket, Work Jacket, Sweater, Shirt, L/S Top, two Hooded Sweatshirts, Jean, Cargo Pant, two T-Shirts, Skateboard and MediCom Toy KUBRICK figures in 1000% and 100% sizes.

The Supreme x The Crow collection launches this Thursday, September 16th at Supreme locations and online. The KUBRICK figures will be available at a later date. Check out the lookbook below.
