The exciting and unique collaboration between Reebok and Michigan based creative agency Distinct Life is back again, with the second instalment from their four part GL 6000 project. The vintage aesthetic of this 80’s retro runner Classic is updated for SS14 with new olive green colorway, and design features which celebrate the exclusive partnership. The GL 6000 upper features Distinct Life’s proprietary ‘Ghost Camouflage’ pattern, which is subtly debossed on premium leather for understated yet distinctive styling. Tonal green mesh underlays combine with nubuck and tan suede accents for a standout aesthetic, whilst gum outsole and complementary pebble accents on the white midsole give a fresh and contemporary update. Reebok Classic’s ongoing partnership with Distinct Life is celebrated with modern and edgy details including custom rubber lace charms to each shoe and luxury ‘Distinct Life’ branded leather patch on the tongue. Reebok’s heritage is retained with a tonal woven brand window on the upper, whilst Distinct Life window features on to the inner side to finish off this nostalgic and timeless Classic. The Reebok x Distinct Life GL 6000 will be available for purchase on April 26 at Burn Rubber and May 3 at select Reebok retailers.
