French fashion retailer The Next Door has teamed up with adidas Consortium on the release of a special edition AR Trainer and Super Court Premiere.
The Next Door takes inspiration from the theatre scene in their hometown of Avignon and pays homage to the festival d’Avignon theatre festival. The AR Trainer represents “Comedy” with a colorway inspired by historical harlequin costumes. The shoe features subtle peach tones, mint on the Three Stripes and outsole, and a smiling “Thalia” theatre mask on the heel.
The SC Premiere represents “Tragedy” with an all-white upper made with full-grain and nubuck leather. Red accents represent the red curtains that are drawn at the end of a show. Completing the look is a sad “Melpomene” theatre mask on the heel.
