Original Story (08/13/21): Today is International Left Handers Day, and what a better way to celebrate than with the reveal of Ned Flanders’ own adidas shoe.
For this Simpsons collab, adidas chose the McCarten, a ’70s leisure shoe-inspired model that embodies Ned’s whole Christian do-gooder father of two vibe. The shoe is dressed in a color scheme inspired by Ned’s daily wear, with green uppers and pink sockliners representing his sweater and collared shirt combo and brown representing his hair and mustache. The shoe comes with a brown leather hangtag debossed with Ned’s face, a poster, and is packaged in a Leftorium-themed box.
