Original Story (11/19/21): More The Simpsons x adidas sneaker collabs are on the way! Following the release of the “Left Handers Rule” McCarten made in honor of The Simpsons family’s neighbor Ned Flanders, we now have an official look at a Superstar inspired by one of the family pets.
Equipped with a black furry upper, this adidas Superstar is made to look as close as possible like Snowball V (aka Snowball II), the family cat. Looking like a mid-’00s design from Jeremy Scott (or present-day Kerwin Frost), the shoe features big green glow-in-the-dark eyes, a pink nose, whiskers and mouth on the forefoot. Its also got ears, a tail protruding from the rear, and a collar ribbon running down the heel.

Update (01/24/22): It appears this release comes exclusively in pre-school and toddler sizing. These are available to cop now at select retailers such as Foot Locker and Dick’s Sporting Goods in the US and adidas.co.uk in the UK.
Update (01/26/22): A stateside adidas.com release is set for Sunday, January 30th.
