Original Story (01/20/21): adidas Originals has paired up with a cartoon classic since 1989, The Simpsons, to create a “Krusty Burger”-inspired ZX 10000.
Part of the ongoing 2020-21 adidas A-ZX series, the design of the ZX 10000 “Krusty Burger” is heavily influenced by the logo of the show’s Krusty Burger restaurant. Brown overlays are made to resemble sesame seed buns, with cream and pink tones representing Krusty the Clown’s face and a section of red on the midsole for Krusty’s nose. We can’t forget about Krusty’s curly green hair, which is represented in the color of the Three Stripes branding and the section of green chenille on the heel panel. The adidas “Trefoil” logo on the heel has even been reimagined to match Krusty’s face (who bears a striking resemblance to the actual logo).
