The Tom Sachs x Nike NIKECRAFT Transitions Collection initially launched in Japan last April, coinciding with Sachs’ “Tea Ceremony” exhibition at Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery. The collection will now be receiving a wider global release.
Highlighting the apparel collection is the quick-deploy pancho, inspired by the parachute release system of a race car. A Fidlock buckle ensures ease of use for the waist strap, and the poncho itself was prepared from a three-layer waterproof and breathable fabric that allows for minimal size with maximum coverage. It also incorporates Dyneema®️ material in it’s construction, the same super-strong fiber used on the Mars Yard Overshoe.
Apparel from the NIKECRAFT Transitions collection will be available globally on February 15th. The assortment includes the Nike x Tom Sachs Poncho, down shorts in black and white, cap and both long and short sleeved tees. Check out the collection below.
