Travis Scott Teases a Cactus Jack x PS5 Collab

La Flame does it again. Travis Scott has unveiled his latest collaboration that is sure to get all the Ragers excited.

Travis Scott has shared via his social media channels a teaser video for his collaboration with PlayStation. The video starts with a sequence of what appears to be PS5 developers wearing Cactus Jack apparel and kicks, with one of the pairs being a never-before-seen PlayStation x Cactus Jack x Nike Dunk Low. Though the video is in black and white, we can see that the shoe features a dark base, light overlays, a black lateral backwards Swoosh, and a PlayStation logo on the heel. Sneakerheads may remember that Nike and Sony crafted a PlayStation Air Force 1 back in 2006.

The rest of the teaser video show Travis Scott sitting in a chair (which he notes is designed by Dozie Kanu) and turning on a PS5. His lamppost falls over due to the extreme sonic waves of his soundsystem (an homage to this ’80s Maxell ad). Check out the teaser video below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for developments on this collab.

Update: In an official statement, PlayStation welcomes Travis Scott as a strategic creative partner. The statement includes a quote from Travis which reads as follows

“I’m really looking forward to being able to showcase everything that Cactus Jack has worked on with Sony and the PlayStation team. Most importantly I’m excited to see how the PlayStation fans and family respond, and I look forward to running some games with everybody very soon!”
