UNDEFEATED has teamed up with Converse on two pairs of versatile and subtly branded Chuck 70s. This release marks the launch of the streetwear brand’s new “Fundamentals” program.
Announced yesterday via Instagram, the Fundamentals program “explores a curation of essential items subtly redefined through the lens of UNDEFEATED and available exclusively at Undefeated.com.” In a similar vein to Fear of God’s “Essentials” line, which also dropped a Converse collab earlier this year, these Chuck 70s are offered in two simple but striking colorways.
The “Parchment” colorway takes the form of an off-white canvas upper marked by UNDEFEATED branding on the heel and red and white stripes along the classic Chuck Taylor midsole. The black pair is similarly versatile, though here the branded heel taping comes in a bolder purplish-blue. Finally, both pairs feature an embossed rubber tab near the forefoot of the midsole with the UNDEFEATED five strike logo.
