Following the release of four team-themed colorways on Mamba Day, Undefeated and Nike have one more colorway of the Kobe 4 Protro up their sleeves. While the other four colorways were made in honor of members of Team Kobe, the “Black Mamba” colorway is a tribute to Kobe Bryant himself.
Kobe’s “Black Mamba” alter ego is the inspiration for this colorway, which sports a full black upper with an iridescent finish similar to the scales of the venomous snake. Like the other four colorways, Kobe’s jersey numbers 8 and 24 are found on each heel, positioned above UNDEFEATED branding. Each tongue also features mismatched branding: UNDEFEATED’s “Five Strikes” logo is seen on the left pair and Kobe’s “Sheath” logo is seen on the right pair.
Look for the Undefeated x Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Black Mamba” to release on September 13 at select retailers and Nike.com for a retail price of $180 USD.
