Original Story (06/25/21): Paris Fashion Week is in full swing. Following a reveal of what high fashion brands like Louis Vuitton and Dior have lined up for Summer 2022, Jun Takahashi share a look at what UNDERCOVER has in store for next year.
The UNDERCOVER Men’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection, titled “ONCE IN A LIFETIME,” is highlighted by new footwear in partnership with Nike. Takahashi takes on the Air Force 1 and fuses it with the ACG Air Revaderchi, an outdoorsy model first launched in 1992 and last brought back in 2018. Takahashi has a history with the model, as UNDERCOVER released a Nike ACG Revaderchi collab in 2010.
The Japanese streetwear label revealed three different colorways of the Air Force 1 x ACG Air Revaderchi hybrid: one in the Revaderchi’s original grey/magenta color scheme, another in the AF-1’s classic all-white, and a third that features graphics printed across the entire upper. Each one comes equipped with waterproof GORE-TEX uppers, a neoprene bootie, TPU heel counter, ACG Revaderchi strap system, and a standard AF-1 cupsole.
